During the winter it's always hard to imagine flowers, especially when theirs snow or rain, but there is something so cozy about a wintery day. I combined the brightness of spring with the comforts of winter in a cozy lap quilt - or wall quilt. The flower I sewed with my sewing machine putting stuffing inside to make it puffy looking, I than put the batting in and sewed squiggly lines through the quilt. I cut a piece of material out that was larger than the quilt, using it as my backing and edging to sew the quilt together and instead of tying it, I used small buttons to keep the quilt together.
