yes, i got a wooden beam at lowe's and had it cut into 4 inch blocks and then sanded, painted, stenciled, and varnished the blocks.
i also made the quilt wall hanging using toile fabric which i knew melinda really liked.
I like the quilt, and the matching blocks in her last name is so clever and cute!
