This gift looks mighty cool, but I need more info to understand fully what it is. Good job Laurie!
As I explained in a note to Jordan, this is a Gift to Jesus box. Each family member has an envelope in which to write down on a card what they will do that year as a gift to Christ. They slip it in the envelope and then put it in the box. The box can be revisited as often as they like for FHE or just on Christmas Eve. Over the years they accumulate several cards in there - one from each year with their personal gifts to Christ. It has been a long-standing, meaningful tradition in my family and I thought Jordan might enjoy a personalized Gift to Jesus box.
Cute Laurie. I wish we could see all of these things up close. Kinda like at a shower when you get to pass around the gift.
I love it. We started that tradition this year, but I may have to design a cool box to hold them!
