Michelle,

I love, love, love the recipe box. Oh my goodness. It is perfect and the recipes look wonderful (I sat and read every one right when I opened it…the kids had to wait for me, ‘cause we open our presents one at a time in turn). I kept saying, “Oh Cali, listen to this one. You’re going to love it.” Or “Oh man, Calvin, you’re gonna love this one, listen to what it has in it.” I felt so humbled by the effort and kindness that had gone into it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t wait to try your recipes. I love to read recipes as if they were a novel.
Thanks again Michelle. I’m so glad to have met you and have enjoyed your blog. I hope you get some sleep….soon.

Love,

Jane

Isn't this such an awesome gift? The recipes alone are a gift to behold and cherish, but the personalized tin is really great too. Michelle is so talented!

Jane, I'm so glad you loved it! Your email was very sweet, I read it aloud to my family. We open our gifts one at a time too, so I could just imagine the scene.

I hope you enjoy the recipes -- feel free to share them with anyone you like, I think good recipes are meant to be shared! (Oh and I read recipes like they're a novel too!)

p.s. Tasha, I got the tin at a scrapbook store, but I have since seen them at Robert's. Try Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

I love this gift and really it is perfect for Jane! I'm so happy that Michelle said you could share them! When can I come and read them!

Michelle, Milo thinks I am so strange because if I can't sleep, I read cookbooks! I tell him it is better than eating! You did an amazing job!

Michelle, really the time that went into this is amazing!
you have such a great collection of recipes I'm sure that is a true gift, but to them stamp the cards and such. Oh I love it!

Michelle what you gave me was so appropriate. I have a red kitchen, I have real chickens and with the exception of ONE recipe, each one was new to me and look/sound so delicious. I'm so glad for your collection and grateful you'd share it with me and let me share it with others.

You did stamp each card? I couldn't tell for sure...at first I thought they were stamped and then I wondered if you had printed them on. They were incredible. Thank you.

Pink Christmas has been such a fun thing to be a part of, thank you.

WOW! Michelle, this is amazing. I love the tin also. I will have to check out our Michael's for such a thing. i am already thinking about the fun things you could do with one - but the best thing would be to fill it up with yummy recipes.

stupid question, but you covered the tin with the paper? where did you get it?

You need to post some of these recipes. I have been wanting to just show up at your house and look through all the great recipes I suspect you have.

I love the paper.

I am envious! Just to have recipes from the kitchen of Chez Michelle would be enough but of course she had to put them on fabulous cards in the most adorable tin! what a treasure!
