Liz,

Thank you so much for the beautiful card organizer and cards. Keeping track of special events and card giving is actually something that I have wanted to do better in my life. Thanks again and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

What a cool box, where did you get it? Was it blank and then you covered it in the paper? I'm dying to know. Very cool.

Great box. I don't know anyone who wouldn't like to have a stash of cute handmade cards on hand.

Amanda,
I am so glad you like it. I stressed over this gift, hoping you would like it. I am "planning" on making one for myself too. I hope you had a great Christmas!

Here is how I made the gift. The box was part of a set of I think 4 boxes. I got them at Michaels, when I was searching for a tin like what Michelle used for her pink gift. I also used one of the smaller boxes to send a good mail package to Michelle when she was sick (remember that?). Anyway, I mod podge it with paper inside and out. I was looking for a plain box, but couldn't find one. I made dividers for each month of the year, plus an "other" divider, for her to keep track of birthdays, anniveraries, whatever. I covered those with paper too. Then I used some chipboard letters and decorated them for the outside of the box, I am going to send Kristi another pic with the updated "look" of the box, since I added more detail to it after the deadline. :) Anyway, it was a really fun project, and I am so happy that it turned out so great.

This is a beautiful idea. I am going to have to copy this so I stop remembering birthdays just as they pass by! Very cool!
